For sale/ Se vende VW -71 Kombi en Chile

How about a road trip in South America with a good old classic VW bus? Now there is a perfect opportunity to make it, as our beloved old Karma is for sale with plenty of gear. The van is still couple of weeks in Peru and after that in Chile. Karma is a tough veteran; it has climbed to 4500 meters altitude with no problem and has reached many places where you normally go only with 4x4. Old VW is like a donkey, slow, stubborn and trustworthy. The van is a moving home ready to hit the road, check out the comprehensive list of gear included.

Karma the van is bought from Frank Zappa’s drummer Vic Mortenson about 14 months ago in California by two Norwegian surfer dudes. We hook up with them in El Salvador, travelled together some time, and finally in Costa Rica we bought the van from them. Since then the trip has continued towards south, and at the moment the van is in Peru. During the last year it has created plenty of good vibes in all Central American countries and in the countries of South American Pacific coast. We have mainly used the car for surfing, climbing and filming nature stuff. Karma is very talented for creating social relations. People will always come and have a chat with you when you stop somewhere with it.
As our beloved van is not new anymore, the price we ask is reasonably 1600€ without the surfboards, 2000€ with them.

You guys have served that Bus well. I am the 71 vw bus guru that got Thomas and Alek rolling here in Ca. She looks great. How has the altitude treated her? 4500 meters is almost a complete atmosphere. Really amazing. Where are the Hubcaps? good luck Todd

Thanks :)! The altitudes have been ok, she got it up slowly but surely. And on the way down she was very brisk. Unfortunately the hubcaps got stolen in Nicaragua. Greetings from Chile, Itus
